David Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti’s long-lost ’90s album to be released

A lost album made by David Lynch and Twin Peaks composer Angelo Badalamenti is finally set to be released.

The record, which was dated to have been created from 1992 to 1993, has been given the title of Thought Gang and the LP will be released via Sacred Bones on November 2nd. To accompany the news, the duo have put out their first track which has been named ‘Woodcutters From Fiery Ships’.

Lynch and Badalamenti formed a creative jazz project together in the 90s and called themselves ‘Thought Gang’. The music, although never officially released at the time, did go on to create two songs that later appeared on the soundtrack for Lynch’s 1992 film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, according to a press release.

The album will consist of 12 tracks and features bassist Reggie Hamilton. “[Lynch] said imagine you’re a chicken with your head cut off running around with a thousand bennies shoved down your throat,” as part of the press statement.
