Punk icons Crass share previously unheard track ‘Sheep Farming In The Falklands’
Crass, the now-iconic punk rock group born out of Essex in 1977, have released a previously unheard track ‘Sheep Farming In The Falklands’.
The group revealed the new song amid the news of a brand new project to reissue of all their past albums in a wide-ranging collection called ‘The Crassical Collection’ which is due for release on October 2 through One Little Independent Records.
“A previously unreleased version of ‘Sheep Farming in the Falklands’ written and produced sometime after hostilities had ceased,” founder Penny Rimbaud said about the personal issues that often plagued the band.
“The first listener to send us the lyrics in full will be handsomely rewarded. I’ve tried, but despite having written them, I still can’t get it word for word.”
