Europe’s biggest country festival, Country to Country, expands to Manchester
Country to Country festival has announced an expansion to Manchester in 2027.
The festival began in 2013 as a three-day event at the O2 Arena in London, but has since grown to become a multi-city event across the continent that has held events everywhere from Dublin to Stockholm.
This year, it will take place from March 13th to March 15th at the O2 Arena in London, as well as the Hydro in Glasgow, and the SSE Arena in Belfast.
Now, for the first time in its history, the event will be taking place in Manchester in 2027 and will take place at the AO Arena, as well as New Century Hall.
No specific dates have yet been confirmed, but tickets are set to go on general sale at 10am on March 20th.
The news has been welcomed by Sacha Lord, the Greater Manchester Night Time Economy Adviser from 2018 to 2025, who took to X to list Country to Country as yet another sign that Manchester has become the cultural capital of the UK.
He wrote, “In terms of Events, nowhere in the UK is coming even close to Greater Manchester. MTV Europe, The Brits, The MOBO’s, and now Europes Biggest Country Music Festival. This isn’t a coincidence and ironically I’m giving a talk as to why, in London this Saturday.”
The line-up for the 2027 event has not yet been revealed, but this year, huge names from the country scene such as Keith Urban, Brooks and Dunn, Zach Top, Drake Milligan, and Russell Dickerson will be travelling to London, Glasgow, and Belfast.
