Country star cancels tour dates to prioritise her “mind, body, and heart”

Country star Ella Langley has cancelled her tour dates for August to prioritise her well-being.

Langley, who boasts 11 million unique monthly listeners on Spotify, won five Academy of Country Music Awards earlier this year and has been selected as an opening act for Morgan Wallen on his huge ongoing stadium tour in North America.

This weekend, Langley was due to play with Wallen at the FireEnergy Stadium on August 15th and August 16th, but she has now pulled out. Gavin Adcock will now replace her on the bill.

Other cancelled dates affected include Nashville on August 19th, Bonner-West Riverside on August 21st, Idaho Falls on August 22nd, Nampa on August 23rd, and finally, Morrison on August 26th.

“I’m so sad to be posting this. The past several weeks have been tough. I’ve been fighting sickness and feeling more run down than ever,” Langley began.

The Nashville star continued: “After a lot of thought, I’ve made the hard decision to take a couple of weeks to rest and focus on my health — mind, body, and heart. I want to be fully present for all the moments ahead, and I know I can’t do that without first taking care of myself.”

“I want to be present for all of the moments ahead, and I know I can’t do that without first taking care of myself,” Langley added. She also noted, “Sometimes we have to listen when our bodies and hearts are telling us to slow down.”

Next month, she is set to return to the road after the short break to open for Wallen in Edmonton, Canada, before completing her own headline tour, which began in January.

Last year, Langley announced herself with the breakthrough single ‘You Look Like You Love Me’, which topped the US Country Airplay chart and peaked at 30 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her debut album, Hungover, arrived in August 2024.
