Corey Feldman issues update following hospitalisation and on-flight emergency: “All signs look good”
Corey Feldman has issued a health update after his hospitalisation following an emergency while on board a flight.
The former child star had been on board a flight to Los Angeles when he reportedly began to feel seriously unwell and was met by paramedics to transport him to a hospital upon his arrival at LAX.
A spokesperson for Feldman said on June 16th that the actor was “resting” and awaiting the results of an MRI scan.
However, the Stand By Me star took to X himself later that night to provide a reassuring update to fans, confirming that he was staying in the hospital but that “all signs look good”.
“THANK U ALL 4 THE #LOVE & CONCERN 2DAY, IT WAS DEF SCARY, & IM HERE IN THE HOSPITAL ITS TRUE, BUT I THINK ILL B OK,” Feldman wrote.
He subsequently added, “ALL SIGNS LOOK GOOD AS OF NOW. ILL UPD8 U WHEN I KNOW MORE!”
Following the update, Feldman then turned his attention to matters of his career, where he shared the news of a new single called ‘What Am I Here 4?’, which is set for release on June 22nd.
Understandably, the actor said the announcement had been “overshadowed” by his health scare taking place.
Although Feldman did not elaborate on what caused his hospitalisation, TMZ reported that he had begun to feel “very sick” on the flight and was assisted by a doctor who also happened to be travelling.
The outlet shared that the actor could have potentially been suffering from either pancreatitis or gallstones, but this has not been confirmed by any of his team or Feldman himself.
