Confirmed: Faith No More will be back on tour in 2020

It has been confirmed that Faith No More are back on the touring circuit following some cryptic messages last week.

The band have finished their four-year hiatus which will see them return to Europe for three major festival dates. One at Sunstroke Festival in Ireland, June 13th, Hellfest in France on June 20th, and Tons of Rock in Norway June 26th.

There are hopes that the band will then continue on to create a whole new host of dates across the continent, Lord knows we’ve been waiting long enough.

The San Francisco band has not played together since 2016 meaning that 2020 dates will be their first in four years. Frontman Mike Patton revealed in 2017 in conversation with Full Metal Jackie radio show that Faith No More were taking an “extended break”.

In a statement on the band’s social media they revealed, “Five years, four colonoscopies, two root canals and a handful of prostate exams tell us that it’s time to carpe diem our asses back to Europe asap”
