Weezer made a triumphant return to Coachella Festival, rolling through their greatest hits and bringing out some very special guests along the way.
Marking what is 14 years since the band last played Coachella, Weezer performed all the fan favourites which includes the likes of ‘Buddy Holly’, ‘Hash Pipe’, ‘El Scorcho’ and ‘Island in the Sun’.
Pulling a few surprises out along the way, Rivers Cuomo and co. performed a barbershop quartet version of their song ‘Beverly Hills’, welcomed Tears For Their Fears to the stage for a rendition of ‘Everybody Wants to Rule the World’ and, of course, closed the show with their cover of Toto’s ‘Africa’.
The real surprise though, came when Weezer brought out TLC’s very own Chilli for a rendition of their hit song ‘No Scrubs’.
