Chris Pratt blames Arnold Schwarzenegger for causing him to have lung infections
Chris Pratt has revealed that his father-in-law, Arnold Schwarzenegger, is the cause of his lung infections, which allegedly occur after the birth of each of his children.
Pratt has been married to Katherine Schwarzenegger, Arnold’s daughter, since 2019, and the couple share three children together. However, after the birth of each of their children, Pratt has been struck down with an illness which he blames his father-in-law for causing.
During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show on February 28th, Pratt touched upon Arnold’s love of cigars, which has caused him painful consequences.
“He’s always smoking one on set, in his car, and in my living room,” he explained to guest host Claudia Winkleman. “When we have a baby, he shows up with a Cuban cigar. I have asthma, so I should not ever smoke cigars, but I do because I feel pressure from Arnold Schwarzenegger.”
Pratt continued: “So, every time I have a child, I have a cigar and about a week later, I have a lung infection. It’s a nice little ritual we have!”
The former Parks and Recreation star is currently promoting his new movie, The Electric Slate, which also features Millie Bobby Brown, Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci, Brian Cox and Anthony Mackie.
Speaking at a red carpet event for his new film earlier this week, Pratt spoke about his relationship with his former castmates on Parks and Recreation and the tight bond they maintain to this day, explaining (per Yahoo), “I’m still very close and text with those guys almost every day. It was just Aziz’s birthday!”
