Arriving in North London following the release of their second LP Young Enough, Charly Bliss came with a simple mission. To go “apeshit”. They achieved that with almost the first strum of their guitar but it all kicked up a notch when the band covered The Killers’ indie classic ‘Mr. Brightside’.

With the audience at London’s Islington venue The Garage already up and dancing, Eva Hendricks announces a proposition for the crowd. “We’re going to have to make some kind of contract together, let’s fuck some shit up.”

The crowd naturally burst into life looking to keep the promise of the band and eyeing up the nearest barrier to kick through. But Hendricks and the band had a different plan.

She announced that the band were about to perform a cover and were keen to get the crowd to “go apeshit” further adding “If you haven’t danced yet, this is your moment.” The famous intro then begins to play and the band launch into a superb cover of the 2003 anthem.

Charly Bliss are scheduled to hit the road in the US next month. Shows will take place in Philadelphia, Washington, Chicago, Cincinnati and loads more throughout June. But for now, watch the fan footage of Charly bliss covering The Killers’ classic ‘Mr. Brightside’.
