Chappell Roan films paparazzi for “disrespecting all of my boundaries” after Paris Fashion Week appearance
Chappell Roan has filmed paparazzi who she claimed were “harassing” her and “disrespecting all of my boundaries” after she left her appearance at Paris Fashion Week.
The pop star was in the audience for Alexander McQueen’s showcase on the penultimate night of the iconic fashion festival, before she left and was greeted by paparazzi as she said she was trying to head to dinner.
In a video circulating on Reddit, the singer is seen standing beside a car and being met with a crowd of paparazzi, to which she holds up her phone and starts speaking to the camera while filming a video.
She is heard saying, “When you’re disregarded as a human, this is what it’s like. I’m just trying to go to dinner, and I’ve asked these people several times to get away from me.”
Roan then turned to film various members of the paparazzi, who covered their faces to protect their identities.
Panning the camera around the group, the ‘Pink Pony Club’ singer continued: “These are all the people who are completely disregarding all of my boundaries,” before appealing to the paparazzi to stop “following” and “harassing” her.
Roan has not made any public comments at this time on the incident, although she did post on Instagram about Paris Fashion Week and said: “Such a sick show omg, ty [thank you] for having me.”
The singer has long taken aim at the media over the course of the time she has been in the spotlight, describing the experience of having “a very unsettling year and a half” during an interview in August 2025.
Most recently, she was the most high-profile name to leave the talent and booking agency Wasserman, after it emerged that its CEO, Casey Wasserman, appeared in the Epstein files.
