Buck Meek announces new album ‘The Mirror’

Buck Meek has confirmed details of his new solo album, The Mirror.

The upcoming record, which is his fourth solo LP, is set to be released on February 27th, 2026, via 4AD. Meek has teased The Mirror with the release of his new single, ‘Gasoline’.

On ‘Gasoline’, the Big Thief guitarist sings, “Making words up while we made love, One month and she’s in my blood.”

Additionally, ‘Gasoline’ arrives alongside a new video directed by Noel Paul, which also features Meek’s backing band, Ken Woodward, Adam Brisbin, and Jesse Quebbeman-Turley, who play on the track.

For The Mirror, Meek has reunited with Big Thief drummer James Krivchenia, who was previously at the helm for the band’s celebrated 2022 album, Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You.

Big Thief singer Adrianne Lenker also delivered vocals on the album, with other guests including Adam Brisbin on guitar, Ken Woodward on bass, and Meek’s brother Dylan Meek contributing piano, keys, and vocals to The Mirror.

To celebrate the album’s release, Meek will be hitting the road in March. Following a date in South Pasadena, he will arrive in the UK and Ireland, performing in Dublin, Manchester, Glasgow, London, Leeds, and Bristol.

Then, he will play a series of shows in mainland Europe, visiting Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Nijmegen, Springe, Berlin, Copenhagen, Helsinki and Tampere.

Next summer, Big Thief will also head out on tour. In the UK, they have three concerts planned at O2 Academy Brixton in London, as well as a stop at the historic Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow and Aviva Studios in Manchester. In Ireland, they will headline the 3Arena in Dublin.
