Big Thief announce UK and Europe tour for 2026
Big Thief have confirmed details of their plans to tour Europe and the United Kingdom in 2026.
Their Somersault Slide 360 Tour will see Adrianne Lenker, Buck Meek and James Krivchenia bring their upcoming new album, Double Infinity, set for release on September 5th, on the road across the continent.
Their European adventure will begin in Oslo with two shows at Sentrum Scene, before they move through Scandinavia with concerts in Stockholm and Copenhagen. Big Thief will then visit Cologne and Berlin in Germany, play two shows in Paris ahead of a huge show at AFAS Live in Amsterdam.
In the UK, they have three concerts planned at O2 Academy Brixton in London, as well as a stop at the historic Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow and Aviva Studios in Manchester. In Ireland, they will headline the 3Arena in Dublin.
Their European run will conclude in June with shows in Brussels, Luxembourg, Milan, Hamburg and Munich.
Before the trio heads to the UK and Europe, they have a North American tour set to take place later this year, which begins at Channel 24 in Sacramento on September 17th. They will remain on the road for a large chunk of what’s left of the year, with the tour set to wrap up on November 7th at the White Oak Music Hall in Houston, Texas.
Their new album, Double Infinity, is Far Out’s ‘Album of the Week’. In a four-and-a-half star review, it was observed: “Listen however you want: either put it on in the background and let it gently comfort you as you go about your day, or allow it to envelop you in all of its subtle compositional delights and the childlike wonder of Lenker’s ever-majestic world-building. Just know that they do, in fact, make them like they used to. Arguably, they’re making them better.”
