Listen to Bruce Springsteen’s new ‘frat rock’ playlist

Following the announcement of his forthcoming concert film, Bruce ‘The Boss’ Springsteen has yet more good news to share with fans in the form of a frat rock playlist.

As part of his SiriusXM radio show, From My Home to Yours, the rocker has curated a list of rock ‘n’ roll classics. “I just want you to drink beer and go apeshit listening to this music,” said the 71-year-old musician via his fan site Backstreets

Amongst the playlist is ‘the going apeshit with beer’ classics, ‘Surfin’ Bird’ by The Trashmen and The Kingsmen song that prompted a two-year FBI investigation simply for being the quintessence of apeshitness: ‘Louie Louie’.

Springsteen has even welcomed a few of the tracks into his own oeuvre over the years, having performed covers of the Swingin’ Medallions ‘Double Shot (Of My Baby’s Love)’ and the Righteous Brothers’ ‘Little Latin Lupe Lu’.

You can take a listen to the playlist below, but please be respectful of the neighbours when cutting loose like Bruce.
