Brit Awards 2026: Wolf Alice confirmed to perform at ceremony
Wolf Alice are the latest act to have been confirmed as performers for the Brit Awards next month in Manchester.
They join previously announced names who will take to the stage at the ceremony, such as Harry Styles, marking his first live performance in three years, and singer-songwriter Olivia Dean, who is nominated in five categories.
Notably, for the first time in the history of the Brit Awards, it will be held outside of London in 2026 and is set to take place at the Co-op Live in Manchester on February 28th.
Wolf Alice, who have never performed at the Brits before, are nominated for ‘Group of the Year’, ‘Alternative/Rock Act’ and ‘Album of the Year’.
In a statement, the band’s Theo Ellis said, “We’re truly honoured to get the opportunity to play this year’s BRIT Awards! Can’t wait to see what everyone’s wearing, can’t wait to see who else is playing, can’t wait to have ten mini wines (after we play).”
He continued, “Most of all can’t wait for a big night out in Manny. Make sure to tune in and watch it all live on the telly.”
The nominations are led by Olivia Dean and Lola Young, with the two homegrown stars picking up five nods each. Trailing closely behind is Sam Fender, who has secured four nominations. His third record, People Watching, is shortlisted for ‘Album of the Year’ with Fender also picking up nods in the ‘Artist of the Year’, ‘Best Rock/Alternative Act’, and ‘Song of the Year’ categories.
Other notable nominees include Pulp, who will compete against Wolf Alice, Sleep Token, The Last Dinner Party and Wet Leg in the ‘Group of the Year’ category. It is their first nomination at the Brit Awards since 1996.
So far, the only winner that has been revealed is Jacob Alon, who has already been named as the ‘Critics Choice’ winner for 2026, beating competition from Rose Gray and Sienna Spiro.
