Brian Eno, alongside his younger brother Roger, have announced a brand new extended edition of their classic collaborative album Mixing Colours as well as sharing a new song ‘Maganese’.
The album arrived earlier in the year and was Brian Eno’s first new album since 2017’s Reflection and was heralded as another sonic journey through landscapes and textured terrains.
The new deluxe edition will arrive on July 17th as Mixing Colours Expanded and will contain seven new pieces from the brother. Extra tracks will include ‘Moss,’ ‘Violet,’ ‘Vermilion,’ ‘Malachite,’ ‘Pewter’ and ‘Marble.’
The two brothers have also released the first new piece from the extended record. You can listen to the new track ‘Maganese’ below and get a taste of the kind of music Eno has created throughout his career; intelligent and considered pieces.
The new edition will also be pressed on to 12″ vinyl which will land on August 14th with a double CD version following on in October. You can pre-order the new release here.
