Boomtown 2026: Kneecap, Madness and Skrillex lead line-up
Boomtown Festival has announced Kneecap, Madness and Skrillex for their 2026 edition.
The annual event, which is set to run from August 12th to August 16th at Matterley Estate near Winchester, has confirmed the first 40 acts for the 2026 festival.
Topping the bill at Boomtown alongside Kneecap, Madness and Skrillex will be Scissor Sisters, Four Tet, Faithless, Scooter, AshNikko, Shaggy and Eve.
Other acts confirmed to appear include Floating Points, Antony Szmierek, Big Special, Bad Manners, Less Than Jake, High Vis, Gentlemen’s Dub Club, Groove Armada (DJ set), Skindred, Wilkinson, Princess Nokia, Elvana and more.
Looking ahead to the event, Kneecap said in a statement: “If anyone knows of ‘a better way to live’ it’s the sound citizens of Boomtown… This one’s going to be special, see yis all there.”
Meanwhile, Boomtown’s co-founder Luke Mitchell said: “Musically – While bass music has dominated in recent years and will always be at our core, we’re making a conscious move to keep Boomtown musically diverse and unpredictable.”
Mitchell continued: “Expect more live bands and more cross-genre adventures. That’s where Boomtown began, and it’s what keeps us on the truest path forward.”
They have also confirmed a number of changes to the design of the festival, which has been given the title, ‘Chapter 5: Radical Redesign’. “Fragmentation isn’t destruction, it’s transformation. By breaking what we know, we uncover new ways of being,” Mitchell said.
He also said of the thinking behind the adaptation of the site for 2026, “When dancefloors embrace all ages, the energy becomes richer, more grounded, that’s the spirit we want to keep building in line with our fundamental values of creativity, connection, celebration and respect.”
Tickets for Boomtown are already 50 per cent sold out for 2026 and are currently on general sale.
