Bon Jovi member David Bryan tests positive for coronavirus

David Bryan, the keyboardist of Bon Jovi, has revealed that he has tested positive for coronavirus.

“I just got my results back today and tested positive for coronavirus,” Bryan wrote in a post on social media. “I’ve been sick for a week and feeling better each day.”

He added: “Please don’t be afraid! It’s the flu not the plague. I’ve have been quarantined for a week and will for another week. And when I feel better I’ll get tested again to make sure I’m free of this nasty virus. Please help out each other.

“This will be over soon… with the help of every American!!”

The ongoing pandemic of coronavirus disease was first officially identified in December 2019 in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei in China. As of March 22nd, more than 318,410 cases of COVID-19 have been officially confirmed but the actual number is thought to be much higher due to substantial under-reporting of cases.

With more than 13,671 people having died from the virus, COVID-19 has now spread into more than 180 other countries—including mainland Europe, South America and North America. Given the exponential growth in cases in countries like Italy and Spain, the WHO have now stated that Europe was the current centre of the pandemic.
