Bob Dylan announces live-streamed ‘Shadow Kingdom’ concert

Bob Dylan has announced that he is set to play a live-streamed concert next month featuring new renditions of his songs composed specifically for the Shadow Kingdom event.

Dylan is set to take the stage on the 18th of July for the event, which will stream from 10:00 PM BST. Once purchased the stream will also remain available to view until 11:59 PM PT on July 20, 2021.

It will be his first time performing since 2020s landmark album Rough and Rowdy Ways and his first concert performance since December 2019. The event will be streamed via Veeps and tickets will cost $25 (£18).

Shadow Kingdom is set to be filmed in an “intimate setting as he presents renditions of songs from his extensive and renowned body of work created especially for this event.”

At this stage, it is not known specifically where the event will be filmed but given that it is his first performance for two years and all that has happened in between, it no doubt promises to be an event to behold.
