Watch Bob Dylan perform ‘All Along The Watchtower’ with Billy Strings
Bob Dylan welcomed Billy Strings to the stage during the latest stop of his Outlaw Music Festival for a delightful performance of ‘All Along The Watchtower’.
Dylan and Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Music Festival is currently in its 10th year, visiting outdoor amphitheatres across North America. Strings is one of the many notable names that will be joining them on the road alongside Sheryl Crow, Wilco, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, the Avett Brothers, Lake Street Dive, Waxahatchee, Lucinda Williams, and Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers.
The 35-date adventure began on May 13th, 2025, in Phoenix and will end on September 19th, 2025, in East Troy, Wisconsin.
While Dylan operates a strict no-phone policy for his headline concerts, which means you can only experience the performance in the room, phones are allowed for his shows during the Outlaw Music Festival.
As a result of Dylan relaxing this policy, plenty of videos have emerged from the tour so far, including a touching tribute to the late Shane MacGowan with a cover of The Pogues’ ‘Rainy Night In Soho‘. Now, footage has emerged of Dylan and Strings playing ‘All Along The Watchtower’ at ONE Spokane Stadium in Spokane, Washington, on May 22nd.
Although Strings has been on the road with Dylan since the Outlaw Music Festival began on May 13th, this performance in Washington was the first time that he has shared the stage with the legendary singer-songwriter.
Strings has previously cited Dylan as an inspiration, and also paid tribute to the musician on his 82nd birthday in 2023 by covering ‘Motorpsycho Nightmare’ during a show in Las Vegas.
The Outlaw Music Festival is set to continue this weekend at the Cascades Amphitheater in Ridgfield on May 24th and at The Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy on May 25th.
