Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross haved released the score to Netflix’s hit film Bird Box.

The film, which has become one of Netflix’s most streamed movies, is a post-apocalyptic psychological horror-thriller film directed by Susanne Bier. The film stars Sandra Bullock and based on the 2014 novel of the same name by Josh Malerman.

For the soundtrack, the production team recruited Nine Inch Nails’ very own Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Now, the duo have shared the 66-minute album which has been titled as the ‘abridged’ version of the score.

“We created a significant amount of music and conceptual sound for Bird Box, a lot of which never made it to your ears in the final version of the film,” the pair said in a statement on their website. “We’ve decided to present you with this version of the soundtrack record that represents what Bird Box is to us. We hope you enjoy.”

The continued: “For those interested, we will be releasing a more expansive (read: more self-indulgent) physical-only offering this spring that will contain an additional hour of music and artwork that colours further outside the lines… Enter at your own risk!”
