Billie Eilish has been confirmed as a performer at the 2020 Oscars ceremony.
The Academy Awards ceremony, which takes place in Los Angeles on February 9th, will also see the likes of Randy Newman and Elton John take to the stage. Unlike the aforementioned names, however, Eilish is not nominated in the category for Best Original Song.
While Eilish is not nominated for an Oscar this year, she has been confirmed as the musician chosen to write and record the song for the new James Bond film No Time to Die.
A performance the Oscars marks a meteoric start to 2020 for the 18-year-old singer-songwriter after a record-breaking result at the Grammy’s. Having released her debut album last year, Eilish became the youngest ever artist to win all four major categories at the event, scooping Song of the Year, Best New Artist, Album of the Year, and Record of the Year.
