Billie Eilish says she's "terrified" about her upcoming documentary

In a new interview, Billie Eilish has shared that while a new album is “coming” it isn’t likely we will see a new record from the artist this year. But she also confirmed a brand new documentary will arrive in 2020.

Ahead of the ALTer EGO concert at the weekend, the singer was speaking to iHeartRadio when she offered up some plans for her forthcoming record.

The singer, who has had an extremely busy 2019 confirmed that 2020 would not see a new album. The ‘ocean eyes’ singer said, “This year, no, but I will be making it this year. But next few years? It’s coming. When it’s made. It’s not made yet.”

Eilish did give an update on her upcoming Apple TV+ documentary which was directed by R.J. Cutler. The film is expected to follow Eilish during the run-up to releasing her hotly anticipated debut record, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? in March last year.

She said, “I’ve seen no part of it. I’’m terrified. I’m freaked out. They’ve been filming since like July of 2018 … Who has that much footage of them that they’ve never seen? I’m terrified.”

It will certainly be an interesting watch as the fuse is lit on Billie Eilish’s firework career so far.

In more recent news, Eilish became the youngest ever performer to take on the role of singing the iconic theme song of James Bond. The singer will take on the role for the 25th edition of the franchise, No Time To Die when it is released this year.

Eilish said of the honour, “It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honour. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock”.
