Billie Eilish became the latest guest as part of James Corden’s Late Late Show feature ‘Carpool Karaoke’.
Eilish, who recently celebrated her 18th birthday, discusses her meteoric rise to fame and sang a number of her hits which include ‘Ocean Eyes’, ‘bad guy’ and more. At one point, while discussing ‘Ocean Eyes’, Eilish recalls how she recorded the song at the age of 13, “That song gave me my life,” she says.
At one point, Corden picks up the ukulele from the back seat and Eilish slows things down. “The first song I learned to play was ‘I Will’ by The Beatles,” she explains before performing a short but sweet version of the track. The teenage singer then demonstrates a softer, acoustic side to her artistic range by singing some of her earliest-written material.
Elsewhere in the segment, Eilish and Corden sing Justin Bieber, visit her childhood home, meet her pet spider, and her charming mother.
