Beabadoobee announces star-studded new album ‘Pylon’ and confirms first arena tour
Beabadoobee has announced her fourth studio album, Pylon, a star-studded affair featuring a slew of recognisable names in the alternative world.
Following on from her 2024 album, This Is How Tomorrow Moves, on her new project, Beabadoobee has enlisted Hayley Williams, Deftones’ Chino Moreno, Turnstile’s Brendan Yates, the 1975’s Matty Healy and George Daniel, Basement’s Andrew Fisher, Title Fight’s Shane Mora, and Pinegrove’s Evan Stephens Hall.
To celebrate the announcement, the singer-songwriter released the album’s lead single, ‘Sun Has Set’. “A lot of the songs on this record are things I wish I could have said to someone,” she explained.
Honing in on the new track, she added, “This song has this petty tunnel vision — it’s like, I hate you. You’re gonna stay here and listen to how much I hate you. Because I never got to say that.”
For the majority of the tracks on the album, including the newly released ‘Sun Has Set’, Beabadoobee co-wrote alongside Moran and Luca Buccellati.
Fans will have the chance to catch the 26-year-old play the new tracks live on an extensive world tour, which will include iconic venues such as Colorado’s Red Rocks, New York’s Madison Square Garden, and London’s O2 Arena.
Wisp and Violet Grohl will support on various dates
Pylon will be released on September 18th via Dirty Hit and Interscope Records.
