From Lizzo to Bruce Springsteen: Barack Obama lists his favourite music of 2019
Former President of the United States, Barack Obama, has revealed a list of his favourite music of 2019.
Obama, who has been detailing his cultural evaluation of the year with some of his favourite books, films and TV shows, has turned his attention to music with his latest effort.
“From hip-hop to country to The Boss, here are my songs of the year,” Obama wrote in a post on social media. “If you’re looking for something to keep you company on a long drive or help you turn up a workout, I hope there’s a track or two in here that does the trick.”
In a wide-ranging playlist which includes an eclectic mix artists, Obama has referenced everybody from Bruce Springsteen and The National to Lizzo and Lil Nas X.
