Baftas 2025: the full list of winners

The Baftas are in the bag for another year, and one of the most unpredictable awards season races in years may have gotten a little clearer with another major ceremony checked off the list on the way to the Oscars in two weeks’ time.

Leading the nominations was Edward Berger’s thriller Conclave with 12 nods, including ‘Best Film’ and ‘Best Director’. The movie picked up the latter picture, the biggest prize of the night as well as ‘Outstanding British Film’. It also picked up another two titles, including ‘Best Editing’, ‘Best Adapted Screenplay’.

Close contenders were Emilia Pérez with 11 nominations and The Brutalist with nine. The ‘Best Film’ category featured Anora, The Brutalist, A Complete Unknown, Conclave, and Emilia Pérez, but was won by Ralph Fiennes enigmatic picture.

However, Fiennes didn’t grab the award for ‘Best Actor’, instead, that award went to Adrien Brody and his wondrous performance in The Brutalist. Another win for that movie was for Brady Corbet, who grabbed ‘Best Director’. One of the most impressive wins was for Mikey Madison, who too home the ‘Best Actress’ award for her role in Anora.

This year’s ceremony introduces a new ‘Children’s and Family Film’ category, highlighting Bafta’s commitment to recognising diverse storytelling, an award that was picked up by Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. While there were wins for blockbuster Wicked in the design categories, another mammoth movie, A Complete Unknown, bagged nothing as Timothée Chalamet walked away without an award.

Here, we will bring you the full list of winners.
