Baftas 2024: The full list of nominations

Award season is officially in full swing, with the Baftas releasing their full list of nominations for the 2024 version of the ceremony.

Coming hot off its success at the Golden Globes, Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer leads the nominations, collecting a total of 13, which range from a nod in the ‘Best Film’ category to recognition in ‘Best Adapted Screenplay’. Starring the likes of Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr and Emily Blunt, who are each also nominated for their respective performances in the film, Oppenheimer is a biopic about the creator of the atomic bomb.

Elsewhere, Yorgos Lanthimos’ eccentric drama Poor Things isn’t too close behind with 11 nominations to its name, with lead star Emma Stone, who is favourite to take home this year’s Oscar, also being nominated for a BAFTA. Trailing behind with nine modest nominations to their names are Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon and Jonathan Glazer’s Zone of Interest.

Joining Killers of the Flower Moon, Oppenheimer and Poor Things in the ‘Best Film’ category is Justine Triet’s Palme d’Or winner Anatomy of a Fall and Alexander Payne’s beloved holiday comedy The Holdovers, starring Paul Giamatti.
