Avicii: Creamfields music festival announces '40-piece orchestral tribute' to DJ


Creamfields music festival has announced plans to remember Avicii with a 40-piece orchestral tribute.

The event, which takes place from August 23-26, will see the venue present a special tribute “to honour one of dance music’s biggest talents.”

The orchestral will pay tribute to the late Swedish DJ who tragically took his own life at the age of 28. The exact cause of Avicii’s death has been revealed, according to a report, which claims that the 28-year-old committed suicide by cutting himself with a broken wine bottle.

Avicii’s body, which was found on April 20th in Muscat, Oman, took his life the broken glass after previously suggested his issues with alcohol according to TMZ. 

Now, one of the worlds largest dance festivals will pay tribute to the DJ: “Creamfields presents a very special debut performance from the 40 piece Kaleidoscope Orchestra, delivering an unmissable set featuring some of the biggest dance tracks like you’ve never heard them before including a special homage to honour one of dance music’s biggest talents,” the event confirmed.
