Arabic Street Art gets a push in to the Western conscious
Arabic street art is not something we get a lot of in the West but luckily for us there is a brand new mini-documentary to introduce us a little more to the wondrous work of Arabic street artists eL-Seed, Shaweesh and many more.
Cedar Lewisohn and Gordon Beswick’s documentary is a wonderful look at some lesser known artists and is beautifully shot and utterly candid.
As part of the Shubbak Festival and with the whole-hearted support of the British Council two projects were organised for the public spaces of London. eL Seed painted a murial at Village Underground, with two films produced to push the boundaries of street art.
