We brought you Australian garage-rocker Animal House with their first single ‘Sour’. We loved its filthier than thou attitude and snarling personality. The boys are back with ‘Figure It Out’ and lucky for us than still as dirty as ever.
With a charming lead line that can seem to bother you like a disease carrying fly, constantly nipping in and out between doo-wop handclaps and the howling sound of Will’s vocals. Animal House have done a fine job of melting all these pieces of the puzzle in to one oozing slab of pus-pop.
Laden with the sensibilities which took The Libertines and The Strokes to the top, the band possess the kind of beer-swigging sing-along nature that will push them into the hearts and minds of many a drunken fool.
Is it too early to drink? Fuck it, they are Australian.
