Detailed allegations of sexual abuse made against Neil Gaiman in new report

Neil Gaiman, the writer behind hit shows such as Good Omens and Netflix‘s The Sandman, has been accused of sexual abuse in a new report.

Last summer, Gaiman was accused of sexual misconduct by two women. Gaiman denied any wrongdoing, claiming the sexual encounters were consensual. In light of the initial allegations, many of his upcoming projects were either suspended or cancelled.

Now, a new report by Vulture features a series of serious allegations from women regarding Gaiman’s alleged conduct.

This story contains content that readers may find disturbing, including graphic allegations of sexual assault.

Scarlett Pavlovich struck up a friendship with his now ex-wife Amanda Palmer, which led to her becoming the nanny to Gaiman’s children with Palmer. During her first meeting with Gaiman, he allegedly poured her glasses of wine while he drank water and encouraged her to take a bath while he took a work call.

Pavlovich alleges that he joined her in the bath, claiming, “I can tell you that he put his fingers straight into my ass and tried to put his penis in my ass. And I said, ‘No, no.’ Then he tried to rub his penis between my breasts, and I said ‘no’ as well. Then he asked if he could come on my face, and I said ‘no’ but he did anyway. He said, ‘Call me ‘master,’ and I’ll come.’ He said, ‘Be a good girl. You’re a good little girl.'”

It’s also alleged by Pavlovich that Gaiman used butter as a lubricant upon forcing her to have anal sex with him and that he made her clean faeces from his penis.

Additionally, it claims, “He ordered her to suck him off while he watched screeners for the first season of The Sandman. In one instance, he thrust his penis into Pavlovich’s mouth with such force that she vomited on him. Then he told her to eat the vomit off his lap and lick it up from the couch.”

Furthermore, the report alleges that Gaiman referred to Pavlovich as his “slave”, which his son allegedly referred to her as on one occasion. It’s also claimed that Gaiman “began to have sex with her from behind” while his son was playing on his iPad in the same hotel room.

The report also features allegations from Kendra Stout, who claims to have first met Gaiman in 2003 at a fan event in Florida. She alleges that Gaiman pressured her into rough sex, and the writer raped her in 2007 during a holiday in Cornwall after she’d developed a UTI “that had gotten so bad she couldn’t sit down”.

It alleges: “Gaiman flipped her over on the bed, she says, and attempted to penetrate her with his fingers. She told him ‘no.’ He stopped for a moment and then he penetrated her with his penis. At that point, she tells me, ‘I just shut down.’ She lay on the bed until he was finished.”

Gaiman and his representatives strongly deny that any of the sexual encounters were non-consensual.
