Alice Glass says former Crystal Castles band mate Ethan Kath ‘owes her legal fees’

After defeating her former Crystal Castles bandmate in court, now Alice Glass has said Ethan Kath owes her legal fees.

Kath, real name Claudio Palmieri and Glass, real name Margaret Osborn, have been tangled in a legal battle which is a result of Glass’ accusations that Kath sexually abused her in the past when they were both band-mates.

In November, Kath sued Glass for defamation after a ‘fake fan; came up to her at the show to hand her a court summons, this came after she publicly claimed that he had raped her while they were in Crystal Castles. Glass filed a motion in January to have Kath’s suit dismissed. After Glass stepped forward and made public allegations about the 40-year-old, more women have since gone to authorities with their own stories of misconduct by Kath.

Kath saw his case against Glass thrown out, to which she said after the victory: “The defamation lawsuit against me was dismissed! Thank you so much for the love and support throughout this ugly process.” Glass continued, “This is a victory for survivors of abuse and sexual misconduct in countries where abusers use the court system to further victimize and keep people silent. WE WILL NOT BE SILENCED.”

Now, with more determination than ever, Glass has confirmed plans to go after Kath again but this time to settle owed court fees, she tweeted: “The bullshit lawsuit by my former bandmate was once again denied in his appeal attempt today.

“Now he owes us legal fees.”

In a second tweet, the musician added: “heres the official from my lawyer for those who speak legal stuff.. “The court denied his request to vacate the judgment that dismissed his lawsuit. The judgment remains in our favor. The court also granted our request for attorney’s fees and costs” ..so he lost and owes me $$”
