Hit the Road Jack: Jack White announces European tour
Jack White has confirmed plans for a European adventure for the summer.
The White Stripes singer will be arriving on the continent in late May and is set to play ten dates across Europe during the jaunt.
The headline tour is set to begin on May 30th at the Sigulda Castle in Latvia, followed by shows in Warsaw and Krakow in Berlin, before a trip to Germany for visits to Berlin and Hamburg. He will also perform at Northside Festival in Aarhus, Denmark.
Then, on June 8th, he will perform in Malmö, Sweden, ahead of shows in Gothenburg and Stockholm, beffore two dates at L’Olympia in Paris and two shows at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels.
White will then perform in Lyon on June 18th, before two dates in Italy and closing the trip with a headline performance at InMusic Festival in Zagreb, Croatia.
In August, White will also play in Kazakhstan and Turkey.
As it stands, there are no UK dates scheduled in his summer itinerary while in Europe.
Aside from his musical commitments, White is set to debut his first-ever art exhibition, titled These Thoughts May Disappear, at London’s Newport Street Gallery this May.
In a glowing review of his last record, 2024’s No Name, Far Out wrote: “If it was simply Jack White sounding like good old Jack White then that would make for a timely rocket to blast a noteworthy wreckage in today’s pixelated musical landscape, but it’s Jack White in a signature vein that timelessly revitalises the medium of the blues with each stabbing chord—rendering it pretty damn close to the masterpiece the world needs right now.”
