Watch AC/DC perform ‘Jailbreak’ for the first time in over 30 years
AC/DC performed ‘Jail Break’ for the first time in over 30 years at a recent concert in Australia.
On November 12th, the rock legends kicked off their first Australian tour in a decade at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground, which saw them play the Bon Scott-era ‘Jailbreak’ for the first time since 1991.
Before the concert in Melbourne, the classic, which appeared on 1976’s Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, had been left on the shelf since a show at the Mount Smart Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand, on November 16th, 1991.
The classic rock act are set to return to Melbourne for another show at the MCG on November 16th before two dates at the Accord Stadium in Sydney, and headlining the BP Adelaide Grand Final later this month.
Their return to Australia will conclude in December with a pair of concerts at the Optus Stadium in Perth and two shows at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.
Next year, their Power Up tour will visit São Paulo, Brazil, in February, before moving around South America to visit Chile, Argentina, and Mexico.
Then, in July 2026, they will be heading to the United States and Canada, performing in stadiums in North Carolina, Ohio, Wisconsin, Texas, Colorado, Nevada, California, Alberta, Vancouver, Georgia, Indianapolis, Missouri, Ontario, Quebec and New Jersey, before concluding the tour in Pennsylvania.
In the summer, they played a series of stadium shows in Europe, which included one show in the UK at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh.
