A Place to Bury Strangers – Straight
‘Straight’ is the new video from A Place to Bury Strangers and today’s Track of the Day.
The band revealed the single two weeks ago at the same time they announced their forthcoming album Transfixiation, set for release in February.
Directed by Brook Linder the video showcases a TV station whose signal is hijacked to play out a nightmare of analog psychedelia and haunted pop culture imagery – that couples perfectly with the bands crazy experimental sound.
The video was inspired by the Max Headroom broadcast signal intrusion of the the late 80s, it’s a bit of a head fuck, but we loved it.
