“It’s a finger hurter”: Lindsey Buckingham’s favourite song to play live is an obscure 1987 gem
“I don’t think it ever got more rigorous.”

Lindsey Buckingham is a well renowned American musician who had great success in his solo career, and also in the band Fleetwood Mac.
Upon the creation of Fleetwood Mac, Mick Fleetwood had had an unexpected guitarist (Bob Welch) quit, where he invited Buckingham and Stevie Nicks to a dinner meeting. When Buckingham was being considered as a guitarist he insisted that Nicks joined alongside as backing vocals, where she ended up being the iconic voice behind the band.
Lindsey Buckingham’s solo career was also a huge hit, having multiple albums and solo releases through the span of many years. After years of working in the music industry he still creates music, as of 2026 finalising his newest solo album.
