Zola Jesus announces new album and unveils 'Exhumed'

Zola Jesus has announced that she will be returning with a brand new LP in the coming months, continuing an ever-burgeoning relationship with Sacred Bones Records.

Nika Roza Danilova will release the album, which is entitled Okovi, on September 8th and has already shared its first single, ‘Exhumed’.

Speaking about the work that has gone into the record, Danilova said: “Last year, I moved back to the woods in Wisconsin where I was raised. I built a little house just steps away from where my dilapidated childhood tree fort is slowly recombining into earth. Okovi was fed by this return to roots and several very personal traumas.”
