Yak announce new EP ‘Atlas Complex’

London-based trio Yak have announce a new EP titled Atlas Complex.

The record, recorded predominantly at the Third Man Studio, will be released on Friday 1st November 2019 through Virgin EMI and Third Man Records. The new material arrives as the eagerly anticipated follow-up to their second album Pursuit of Momentary Happiness, which arrived earlier this year.

Atlas Complex was recorded between Nashville and South London at the beginning of this summer,” Frontman Oli Burslem explained in a press release. The “atlas complex” is centred around an idea of losing all sense of everything. It’s a state of mind in which a person believes that the world is on their shoulders and they’re unable to deal with what they perceive as endless problems and uncertainty.”

After the release of their second album, Yak completed a UK headline tour in scheduled it in time to catch a number of the major summer festivals. Now, amid the release of Atlas Complex, the band will be hitting the road once more and in November they’ll play another run of headlines shows across the UK. Tour dates below.
