Watch Wolf Alice’s Ellie Rowsell play quarantine home concert to raise money for ‘Save Our Venues’
Wolf Alice lead singer, Ellie Rowsell, has performed a virtual gig in order to raise money for Save Our Venues.
The campaign to save a huge number of UK’s independent music venues from permanent closure amid the pandemic has already surpassed £1 million in donations.
“I’m going to play a couple of tunes,” Roswell said before launching into her live stream performance.
She added: “I think I’ve featured a link which will link you to the crowd funder which is to help save UK’s grass-roots music venues, which are all under threat at the moment.
“They’ve managed to raise a quite lot of money but they need to reach their goal in order to save them.”
