Willie J Healey shares new track ‘Greys’

The slacker-pop sensation Willie J Healey has released another gem of raucous guitars and socially wry lyrics. The track which Healey says is about “the feeling of routine and boredom. It’s about believing that nobody would even notice if you were abducted, in this case by aliens” is a rip-roaring attack on the senses.

After the original incarnation going through a transition of being stripped back and then ladled with heavy guitar gravy, ‘Greys’ now feels complete. Full of a pounding rhythm and a fast a furious melody it has a meatiness that is insatiable.

He’s also announced a load of shows in support of Palace in April. Listen to ‘Greys’ and tell us you don’t see yourself throwing limbs around the sweaty pit to it. Go on. We dare you.
