Whitney share ‘You’ve Got A Woman’ video
After recently announcing that a new 12” will be on its way on Secret Canadian next month, Whitney have now shared the video for the cover of Dutch duo Lion’s 1975 track ‘You’ve Got A Woman’.
The track is the other side of the 12” following the recent cover of Dolly Parton’s ‘Gonna Hurry (As Slow As I Can)’ and is a deep pop-psych number. The clip is directed by Peter Simonite and Nick Simonite and sees a narrative video following a sun-drenched couple entrenched in a love triangle.
Julien Elrich said of the track ”As soon as I heard it, I wished I’d written the vocal melody; it’s so catchy and powerful. It’s quite evil-sounding for us, it was fun to mess around with something darker and throw strings in.”
