‘The White Lotus’ announces new cast additions, including Kumail Nanjiani and Chloe Bennet

The White Lotus season four is shaping up to be another cracking instalment in the beloved HBO series; now, Max Greenfield, Kumail Nanjiani, Chloe Bennet, Charlie Hall, and Jarrad Paul have joined the fold.

The next series of the hit series will take place in France. The luxury Château de La Messardière in Saint-Tropez on the Côte d’Azur has been confirmed as a filming location; any further details regarding the plot for the highly anticipated season remain under wraps.

The new announcement joins a slew of already-confirmed players. In January, it was announced that Heena Bonham Carter would join as a key member of the cast. Chris Messina and Marissa Long will perform alongside her.

Additionally, Steve Coogan was announced to join the cast following the previously confirmed names Caleb Jonte Edwards, Alexander Ludwig, and AJ Michalka.

The high-profile additions have had work all across the industry. Greenfield has starred in New Girl and The Neighborhood, while Nanjiani is known for his performances in Only Murders in the Building and Marvel’s Eternals.

Bennbet is known for her role in Interior Chinatown, while Hall has acted in The Sex Lives of College Girls, and Paul has starred in Free Bert and Huge in France.

The casting is central to the sociopolitical drama. The White Lotus has been Emmy-nominated for each of its series to date, winning the award for seasons one and two. It has boasted previous performances from the likes of Parker Posey, Sydney Sweeney, and Walton Goggins.

Filming is reportedly scheduled to begin in April. Taking from current plans, shooting will wrap up by October 2026. Per Variety, part of the series will be filmed in a Paris hotel, and the Cannes Film Festival may also be part of the plot.
