Weezer announce North American arena tour
It’s an exciting time for Weezer: the band are teasing a new album, and are set to release their first single next week. If this wasn’t enough, they’ve now confirmed a huge North American tour.
Weezer toured extensively in 2024, on their Return to the Blue Planet tour, which saw them play their debut in its entirety in celebration of its 30th birthday.
This year, they are back with new material; they are set to release the single ‘Shine Again’ next week, and will release a yet-to-be-titled full-length project via Reprise/Warner Records later this year.
Now, the band will be joined by The Shins and Silversun Pickups on all confirmed upcoming dates, which will kick off on September 8th in Sacramento.
For the next two months, they will travel to the likes of San Francisco, Portland, Vancouver, Seattle, Denver, Toronto, Boston, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Nashville, Atlanta, Tampa and more in support of their upcoming release.
The whole affair will end on October 24th in Los Angeles with a huge show at the Crypto.com Arena.
Weezer’s last full-length album hit the shelves in 2021; Van Weezer was followed up in 2022 by four EPs, each evoking a different season.
