WAVVES smash it with new track ‘No Shade’
Wavves have been fiddling around with the genres recently. They went all surf on track ‘Daisy’ and title track ‘You’re Welcome’, gone all punk on ‘Animal’ and then went dead glam on ‘Million Enemies’, so what is next for Wavves? Another heap of punk pie, thank you very much.
This was is like a circular saw, jagged, buzzing and unwise to try and stop. The track is a short sharp preview of the new album. An album that when you add up the many different facets above is going to be hard to top.
The album is likely to be their best and if you follow the band on Instagram you’ll start to understand why they seem to be constantly celebrating.
