Watch Tool perform new music for the first time in over a decade

Tool shared new music last night for the first time at the Welcome To Rockville festival in Jacksonville, Florida.

The metal giants have been quiet on the new music front since they released their last album 10,000 Days released in 2006. However, during their headline set last night they dropped new tracks ‘Descending’ and ‘Invincible’ which you can see footage of below.

A new album was expected this April according to drummer Danny Carey but fans are still waiting for an announcement regarding the release.

Tool are heading to the UK this summer when they headline Download Festival in June alongside the likes of Slipknot, Def Leppard, Smashing Pumpkins, Die Antwoord, Rob Zombie, Eagles Of Death Metal and many more at Donnington Park.

Here’s hoping Tool fans don’t have to wait another 13 years for more new music.
