Last night saw trip-hop trailblazers and one of the more reclusive bands around Portishead play a hugely-anticipated headline set at Latitude.
And they certainly didn’t disappoint – not only wowing a packed-out audience with highlights from their three studio albums, but also welcoming a very special guest in the shape of Thom Yorke.
The Radiohead frontman joined Beth Gibbons and co on stage to perform a version of their track ‘The Rip’, taken from the album III.
But that wasn’t the only surprise Yorke had up his sleeve, as he also played an unannounced solo set with Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, featuring material from last year’s Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes and his side project Atoms For Peace.
Luckily one savvy fan captured the whole collaboration on camera, and you can see it right now via Instagram, by heading here. Enjoy!
