Watch Smashing Pumpkins’ first performance as ‘classic’ reunion

Smashing Pumpkins appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform two songs from their classic 1995 double-album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.

The band, joined with longtime guitarist Jeff Schroeder James Iha, and Jimmy Chamberlin, performed tracks ‘Solara’ and ‘Zero’. Touring bassist Jack Bates also appeared as Billy Corgan’s feud with original bassist D’Arcy Wretzky continues.

The performance on Fallon was their debut public performance ahead of their ‘Shiny Oh So Bright’ US tour.
