Liam Gallagher has dedicated ‘Live Forever’ to Mac Miller during his live show in Berlin.
Miller was found dead at his Los Angeles home after an apparent overdose, a coroner confirmed. He was just 26-years-old. The rapper shot to fame in 2011 with his debut album but struggled with substance abuse, even openly rapping about his struggles in multiple songs.
Speaking on stage to the Berlin Lollapalooza crowd, Gallagher introduced ‘Live Forever’ and said: “I’d like to dedicate this to a lad who’s just died, Mac Miller”.
Gallagher and Miller had met multiple times in the past and, on one occasion, the rapper covered Oasis hit ‘Wonderwall’.
