Gorillaz fans surprised fans during their Demon Dayz Festival in Los Angeles by covering Blur track ‘Song 2’.
Having seen the likes of The Internet, DRAM, and Kilo Kish all perform earlier in the day, Gorillaz took to the stage to play a mammoth headline set which consisted of 30 songs.
At one point, Damon Albarn addressed the crowd by saying “we’re going to try a bit of cross-pollination now,” before introducing his Blur bandmate Graham Coxon to the stage. Building slowly with some classic Gorillaz audio, the band then launched into a rousing rendition of ‘Song 2’.
