Watch: Afghan Whigs’ sound engineer takes centre stage in ‘The Lottery’

Veteran US rockers The Afghan Whigs have unveiled the DIY-style video for their latest offering from last year’s album Do The Beast.

The track ‘The Lottery’ is one of the standouts from the record that saw the band gain their first top 40 position in the UK album charts.

It has previously spawned singles like ‘Matamoros’ and ‘Algiers’, but the Sub-Pop signees have proved that the LP is the gift that keeps on giving, with this video that saw monitor engineer Ryan O’Hara take centre stage in flamboyant style.

Never one to let Greg Dulli and co hog the limelight for too long, he can be seen dancing and miming his way through the track from behind the desk, with the whole thing having been filmed on his Go-Pro camera.
